Summer is Vodacom’s biggest and most vital marketing period. Every year, an integrated Summer campaign (brand, digital and retail) is rolled out over five months. Consumers are granted an opportunity to win via gamification and rewards mechanics.

The process on projects of this this colossal scale is one with collaboration between different departments, ensuring brand messaging and consistency across brand, retail and digital communication.

As the art director, I played a key role in ideation, developing the visual language, and presenting concepts to both the client and production teams. I was on set to art direct photography alongside the digital and brand TV shoots. Additionally, I created a cohesive design language for execution across all media channels, including the rollout of national out-of-home billboards, both static and digital.
