Own Your Crown

  • AbInBev has a division focused on innovative brands known as ZX. One of the standout offerings in this portfolio is a premixed Gin & Tonic brand, which comes with an established tone of voice and strategy. Emphasising its unapologetically African identity, the brand seeks to uphold the sentiment of "owning your crown," ensuring that the audience stays engaged and connected to its positioning.

  • The unapologetically African premixed Gin & Tonic aimed to resonate with South Africans by encouraging them to "own their crowns." This was to be achieved through a series of activations, events, collaborations, influencer content, and engaging social media posts that would capture the hearts and minds of the audience.

  • The process is highly collaborative and hands-on, involving the ideation of content while aligning with strategy, clients, and social media managers to craft messages for various channels. This also includes creating storyboards and providing artwork and titles for animation.

  • As the lead creative, I was responsible for the concept, design, and execution of assets, as well as supplying storyboards for animation.
